There can be many reasons why someone misuses substances, to block out pain, to cope, to escape.

Recognising that it is taking over your life though is the first step to taking back control.

Any addiction can be a challenge to overcome.

I commend your courage for taking the first step on that road to recovery.

You do not have to do it alone.

C.O.P.E. is not a substance misuse service.

However, sometimes our clients have self medicated with drugs or alcohol to deal with their emotional or mental pain, or perhaps people turned to drugs and alcohol and have given that up but need to address what drove them to it in the first place.

We cover the West Glasgow Community Planning area however; there are services all over Glasgow.
